Better data quality through automatic cleanup of incorrectly opened CAN Network enrollments and Bed list Enrollments
Overview of Change
We’ve implemented an automated nightly cleanup process that will close CAN Network and bed list enrollments. The below issues should be resolved nightly and will reduce common data entry errors such as:
- Clients who have exited an Emergency Shelter, but who’s bed list enrollment was mistakenly left open.
- Clients who have been exited from a CAN’s enrollment, but who’s Network Enrollment has been left open. This should greatly reduce or eliminate any Agency Full errors when attempting to set up a client appointment.
The full technical list is below of how various situations are handled in detail.
Issue 1 Fixed
Enrollment or Enrollment Member record is deleted. Any associated resource usage enrolls that are consuming a slot will be deleted.
Issue 2 Fixed
Resource usage enroll does not have an enrollment ID associated with it OR the Enrollment or Enrollment member record associated with the resource usage enroll do not exist. Any associated resource usage enrolls that are consuming a slot will be deleted.
Issue 3 Fixed
The enrollment record has an end date < resource usage end date. Update the resource usage end date to match the enrollment end date.
Issue 4 Fixed
The enrollment member record has an end date < resource usage end date. Update the resource usage end date to match the enrollment member end date.
Issue 5 Fixed
The resource usage enroll record has an end date of 12/31/9999 and the program type for the associated enrollment is Coordinated Assessment. Update the resource usage end date to be 180 days past the resource usage start date.
Issue 6 Fixed
The resource usage enroll record has an end date > the start date + 180 days and the program type is PSH. Update the resource usage end date to be 180 days past the resource usage start date. NOTE this rule was put into place to clean up old data and can be turned off if desired.
